Our Hurting World project for August is for Church Development and Community Health in Santiago De Veraguas in Panama. The primary goal of this project is to establish a Methodist presence in the interior of Panama, The Panamanian Church is presently only on the coasts and there is none in the interior. We have partnered with the Panamanian Health Care system to provide medical care in areas not currently served and joining in efforts with government staff in vaccination campaigns, women’s health workshops, child care and dietary education. The construction of a building in Santiago will provide a launching site for worship and other ministries in this region. The goal is to get $ 85,000 for this project but year to date only #100 has been given at last report. Please do what you can to help this project materialize.
